Welcome to Wellspring Counseling! We offer faith based confidential counseling and support systems which are professional and compassionate. Counseling services are available to adults, couples, and adolescents age 14 and over. At Wellspring, counseling may include individual counseling, marriage/couples counseling and enrichment, as well as premarital counseling. Typically, clients meet once a week or biweekly for a 50-60 minute session. You and your counselor will decide the duration of therapy and evaluate your progress as you go along. Juli Peak

Our Counselor

Juli Peak has a Masters degree in professional counseling from Liberty University and a License in professional counseling in the state of Virginia. Juli previously earned a Masters degree in Christian Education from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. She particularly enjoys helping people in those areas where psychology and spirituality intersect, such as depression, anxiety, addictions and also relationship struggles. Couples counseling is also an area in which Juli specializes. She wants people to grow in experiencing God’s grace as they find freedom from their personal areas of struggle.

Counseling is for anyone seeking to improve their emotional and spiritual health. As a Christian counseling clinic, we use professional counseling techniques while also incorporating Christian principles. There is not a requirement that someone be involved within our church or any other church to come to Wellspring counseling. We are honored to work with you regardless of your church affiliation.

Fees & Insurance

Compassion’s Wellspring Counseling can accept some insurance health plans as well as private pay. Our fees are consistent with other licensed counselors in the Lynchburg area. There is limited financial scholarships available and they may be requested if counseling is financially prohibitive.

Where does counseling take place?

The church offices are located at 1737 Wards Ferry Rd in Lynchburg. The ministry building is the small building that resembles a house. You can park in front of this building and go inside to the reception area for your counseling appointment.  

How much does counseling cost?

The fees for counseling are consistent with licensed counselors in the Lynchburg area. Cost of services is often dictated by your particular insurance plan and the length of your treatment. We offer limited financial assistance to those greatly in need. We can discuss your specific circumstances when you call for an appointment.

Will my visits be covered by insurance?

Insurance policies vary but most plans do offer mental health benefits. Session amounts not covered by insurance will be the responsibility of the client.
