We are conveniently located in Lynchburg, Virginia. Our address is: 1737 Wards Ferry Rd., Lynchburg, Va, 24502

Our worship services blend the best of both traditional and contemporary music styles. We typically sing 3-4 songs before one of our pastors delivers his or her sermon. Usually a service will last about 1.5 hours.

Every Sunday we meet at 9:00am and 10:45am. Both services are the same content.

Yes! We want you to be able to worship while your children are watched in our secure nursery facility. Children from 3 months to pre-k are welcome in our nursery. All of our friendly nursery volunteers go through an extensive security screening prior to serving.

We have a thriving kids program at Compass Church. Kids from kindergarten to 5th grade are welcome to attend Compassion Kids services which also take place at 9:00am and 10:30am every Sunday.

Compassion Youth
Connect with God and others at our vibrant youth group in Lynchburg, VA! We're dedicated to helping teens in 5th through 12th grade grow in their Christian faith. Each Sunday we kick things off with a shared meal, followed by fun activities like dodgeball, basketball, board games, and fellowship time. Afterward, we engage in worship and a relevant large group message, which then transitions into small group discussions. These small groups provide a safe space for teens to connect with peers and leaders, reflecting on the message and exploring how to apply it to their lives.

Compassion Kids
At Compassion Kids, our goal is to provide Biblical teaching in an engaging, safe and nurturing environment. We partner with families and help equip them with the resources and support needed for children to know they are loved and known by their Creator and Savior. When you bring your child to Compassion Kids you can expect that your child will be treated with care and respect. Our services are engaging, safe, fun, and nurturing. We do our very best to ensure that your child will enter a fun environment that is conducive to growth.

Women's Ministry
Compassion Women’s Ministry is dedicated to helping women support each other, pray together, and grow in their faith through the teachings of God’s word. We focus on fostering an environment that brings women to Christ, helping them not only understand the gospel but also respond to it meaningfully and apply it in their daily lives. In this way, we create a community of faith where each woman can thrive spiritually and emotionally.

Recovery Ministry
Celebrate Recovery at Compassion offers healing through our Christ-centered, 12-step program. Focused on God’s power to change lives and providing support from others in recovery, you can find the freedom you seek! This is not a “class,” so feel free to join us whenever you want.
If you are a student, join “The Landing,” a separate recovery ministry dedicated to jr. and sr. high students.

Young Adults
Compassion Church Loves Young Adults! We offer many different ways to not only be a part of our Church Body, but truly become part of the Compassion Family. Our young adults aged 18-35 are a valued part of our family, and we desire them to discover a meaningful relationship with God, while building lasting community.
Sunday Mornings we offer a College and Young Adult Bible Study @ 9am Located in the Cafe of the Main Worship Center Building.
Need a ride to church? Compassion has a shuttle that runs at 8:45am and 10:15am every Sunday from Liberty University’s Book Store to our Campus.
