Ministries at Compassion

Compassion Kids

At Compassion Kids, our goal is to provide Biblical teaching in an engaging, safe and nurturing environment. We have programs available for children from 6 weeks old to 4th grade. We partner with families and help equip them with the resources and support needed for children to know they are loved and known by their Creator and Savior. When you bring your child to Compassion Kids you can expect that your child will be treated with care and respect. Our services are engaging, safe, fun, and nurturing. We do our very best to ensure that your child will enter a fun environment that is conducive to growth.

Nursery

Our nursery is open to children from 6 weeks old to 3 years old. We want to provide parents with the opportunity to enjoy service while knowing their child will be taken care of. We use a digital check in system to ensure proper safety and security for the care of your child.

Nursery Objectives:

  • Infants will know that Jesus loves them and cares for them through nurturing and interactive caregivers.

  • Toddlers will learn that Jesus loves them and cares for them through Bible stories and exposure to Scripture.

  • Pre-schoolers will learn that Jesus loves them, cares for them and wants them to care for others through hands on Bible learning and activities.

All nursery caregivers must complete NazSafe training and complete a background check.

Pre-Teen Ministry

Our ministry style is tailored to meet them where they are at, offering a unique blend of Kids Ministry and Middle School Youth Ministry that is engaging and relevant during this transitional phase.

COMPASSIONATE MINISTRIES

We are dedicated to serving the community through a variety of programs. These initiatives include a food pantry that operates as a "client choice" facility, providing food assistance to those in need. We also organizes a Christmas Food Boxes program, aiming to provide holiday meals to hundreds of families annually. Additionally, we have a Meal Team that supports church members during times of need, such as new births or recovery from illness.

Women’s Ministry

Compassion Women’s Ministry provides women with opportunities to lift one another up, pray together, and grow in godliness as we engage with God and each other through His word. Compassion Women’s Ministry is committed to helping women come to Christ and grow in Christ by understanding the gospel, responding to the gospel, and applying in their lives.

Recovery Ministry

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery at Compassion can help you find healing through our Christ-centered, 12-step ministry. With an emphasis on God’s power to transform our lives, a process for ongoing change, and the support of fellow sojourners in recovery, you can experience the freedom you have been looking for!

This is not a “class”, so you are welcome to join us anytime you choose. We begin with music, followed by an inspiring and challenging message or a powerful testimony of a changed life. Gender specific open share groups follow.

The Landing

The Landing is Celebrate Recovery’s student ministry geared towards Junior High and High School age students. This curriculum is designed to mirror the same material as the adult Celebrate Recovery curriculum, only packaged for students.

The Landing exists to provide a safe place for our students to process life and the struggles that accompany it, provide tools to help them live emotionally and spiritually healthy lives, and point them towards the freedom found in Jesus Christ.

Young Adults

Compassion Church Loves Young Adults! We offer many different ways to not only be a part of our Church Body, but truly become part of the Compassion Family. Our young adults aged 18-35 are a valued part of our family, and we desire them to discover a meaningful relationship with God, while building lasting community.

COMPASSION Buddies

Compassion Buddies is a special needs ministry that offers growth and learning for everyone. While focused on providing personalized support, love, and care to those with extraordinary skills and unique perspectives, this ministry also serves as a catalyst for transformation and unity within the whole body. Our mission is to "bring support, love, growth and unity to all peoples through the ministry of special needs." We strive to create necessary spaces for every individual to encounter and learn about Jesus in the best way possible, whether through our sensory room with a modified curriculum or by providing one-on-one "buddies" to enable participation in general classrooms. Compassion Buddies is committed to serving the whole body by offering individualized support for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of every person, fostering unity across all people groups through services, serving opportunities, and special events.

Mens Ministry

At Compassion Church, we believe that strong, godly men are essential to the health of our families, church, and community. Compassion Men is a dynamic ministry dedicated to helping men from all backgrounds and life stages grow in their faith and step into the leadership God has called them to.

Our ministry is a brotherhood where "iron sharpens iron" (Proverbs 27:17). We focus on building deep friendships, encouraging spiritual growth, and equipping men to apply biblical principles to their daily lives.

Whether you're new to faith or have been walking with God for years, we invite you to join us on this journey to live out your purpose with strength, integrity, and compassion. Come connect, grow, and be part of a team committed to making a lasting impact for God's Kingdom.
