What is Advent?
Derived from the Latin word meaning “coming” or “arrival,” Advent is a season when we, as followers of Christ, gather in worship to remember His humble birth and look forward with eager anticipation to His promised return.
It’s a time for families and the church to reflect together on God’s faithfulness throughout history and to await Christ’s second coming with hope. May this Advent season fill you and your family with renewed joy, anticipation, and a deeper sense of God’s presence.
How to Prepare
Join us on a journey of anticipation and wonder with our Advent devotional, “Here Comes Heaven.” Starting December 1st, join us each day as we read and engage with Scripture, reflect on the true meaning of Christmas, and prepare our hearts for the arrival of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Designed for both individual and family use, this devotional offers a unique opportunity for personal reflection and meaningful family conversations. Whether you’re gathering around the dinner table or spending quiet moments alone, this devotional will inspire you to draw closer to God and experience the joy of the Christmas season.
