What is Compassion Youth? We are a youth group that is located in Lynchburg VA with the goal to help develop our teens’ walk with Christ. Each week our goal is to encourage our students, and to show them how to Love God, Love Others and Serve Both.
To start off, our Middle Schoolers (5th-8th grade) meet in the Main Worship Center and our High Schoolers meet in the Compassion Life Center up on the hill. We start our time each week with a meal together! Then we have some active games, board games, or time to fellowship. Our active games include dodgeball, basketball, 9 square and much more. After free time we each have a time of worship that then leads into our large group message. After the message, the teens will go to their small groups where they get to discuss the message, and talk with peers and leaders of what they learned and how they can apply it to their own lives.
Who is Compassion Youth for? 5th-12th Grade.
When does Compassion Youth meet? Youth Group is held on Sundays from 5:00-7:00pm! Our Middle Schoolers (5th-8th grade) meet in the Main Worship Center and our High Schoolers meet in the Compassion Life Center up on the hill. We also encourage all of our teens to join us for our Sunday Bible Study that meets at 9:00am in the Worship Center in the last classroom on the right.
