Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery at Compassion can help you find healing through our Christ-centered, 12-step ministry. With an emphasis on God’s power to transform our lives, a process for ongoing change, and the support of fellow sojourners in recovery, you can experience the freedom you have been looking for!

This is not a “class”, so you are welcome to join us anytime you choose. We begin with music, followed by an inspiring and challenging message or a powerful testimony of a changed life. Gender specific open share groups follow. Wed. Night Schedule:
6:45PM – Celebrate Recovery’s Doors Open @ LFCN
7:30PM – Gender Specific Open Share Groups.
8:30PM – Groups finish

Candlelight Service

Compassion Church Worship Center 1737 Wards Ferry Rd., Lynchburg, VA, United States

Join us as we celebrate the birth of our savior. This event will also be available online Christmas Eve. To encourage entire family participation, we will not be providing childcare for this service. We want the whole family involved! Additionally, we want you to be a part of the worship team. If you have an instrument you would like to play (guitar, ukulele, harpsichord, bagpipes, etc.) please bring them with you. The chords will be available on screen.

Christmas Family Worship Service

Join us for a family Christmas service. Instead of having regular Compassion Kids services we are joining together for one service at 10:30am. Come as early as 9:00am to enjoy coffee and fellowship. Nursery will be available.

Legacy Golf Tournament

Ivy Hill Golf Club 1148 Ivy Hill Dr., Forest, VA

Join us for our 21st annual Chick-Fil-A Legacy golf tournament at Ivy Hill Golf Club.
The cost for the tournament is $100/person. The tournament will be played in teams of four people. In addition to a great round of golf, each player will receive breakfast, a gift bag, an opportunity to win great door prizes, and a full lunch provided by our friends at Chick-fil-A. Registration will be from 7:30-8:00am with a shotgun start at 8:30am.

On Sunday, September 4th, we will have two services. Our normal 9:00am service at Compassion, and the we will have our 10:30am service at Miller Park! Following this service we will have a community lunch! We are asking those with last names A-L to bring a dessert and M-Z to bring a side dish to share!
